After 122 years, Cadillac makes its debut in the Australian market. The prestigious brand aims to showcase the luxury and sophistication it’s known for with the launch of the LYRIQ — a new EV that redefines the premium driving experience with its focus on ambience and detail. 

In partnership with Jack Morton and Displaywise, we built a brand experience that translates the luxury of LYRIQ into an interactive light show synchronised with music, amplifying the EV’s personalisation features on a larger scale.

Using personalised colours, lights and music to connect with customers.

The luxury of the LYRIQ lies in its ability to create a personalised ambiance that fosters a connection between the driver and the vehicle. The LYRIQ features front-to-back LED lighting, greeting the driver with a choreographed sequence. Inside, the dual-zone customisation offers a wide range of lighting options, giving the driver precise control to set the mood and match their preferences.

In partnership with DisplayWise, a sleek, modern installation was created to set the stage for the light show, with the vehicle as the centerpiece. LED lights are embedded in vertical beams, framing the car on three sides, and the floor features an illuminated pattern from the LYRIQ’s interior, glowing softly to enhance the overall atmosphere.

Express your personality by mapping your music and colours to a larger-than-life LED music visualiser.

On a touchtable interface, users could select colours for different parts of the installation with a soundtrack from a curated selection of Cadillac-inspired music. This combination created a dynamic lighting sequence, with the lights moving in sync with the music to bring their EV personalities to life. 

To deliver the full Cadillac experience, elements from the LYRIQ’s dashboard interface were used in the design.

Staying true to the LYRIQ dashboard’s UI, the touchtable interface incorporated elements such as interactive hotspots for LED colour selection and song playlists.

This experience gave Cadillac an impactful platform to break into a new market, generating an estimated 1,200 daily engagements and strong interest in the new LYRIQ EV. 

The installation will continue to travel across cities in Australia and New Zealand, bringing the LYRIQ experience to new audiences.
